Elena Tsareva for Joseph V McMullan Award 2012

The Near Eastern Art Research Center announced Elena Tsareva is the 2012 recipient of the Joseph V McMullan Award for Stewardship and Scholarship in Islamic Rugs and Textiles. Named after one of the 20th century’s foremost scholars and collectors of Islamic carpets and textiles, the McMullan Award is presented annually by The Near Eastern Art Research Center. The Joseph V McMullan Award is recognised as the most prestigious award in the field of oriental carpets.
