Rugs and textiles in Sotheby’s London Islamic sale
In short, very few, and certainly the smallest rug and carpet consignment in memory. That said, there is a small medallion Ushak rug consigned by ‘a German Lady, a Yomut white ground ‘tree’ asmalyk from a French collection, and the second Tekke embroidered asmalyk in the London sales.
