Karahut Breast ornament, Abelam people, North of the Middle Sepik River, New Guinea. An initiated man wore his karahut on his backduring festivities. The ornament is made of pig’s teeth and nassa shells fixed to a frame which has the shape of a human being. Acquited in the 1970s. Gallery Lemaire
