25 Blythe Road’s next Islamic, Indian, Himalayan and South East Asian Works of Art online-only auction, run by Arthur Millner, will include a variety of Indian art and Buddhist Himalayan treasures, from  4 – 7 November 2013.

Approximately 300 lots will include sculptures, paintings, textiles, ceramics and metalwork. Making a strong showing are a wide selection of bronze images, ritual objects and paintings from the Buddhist Himalayas, including a 13th century painted wood bookcover, with carved relief decoration of three forms of Buddha.

Viewing before the sale will be at the gallery at 25 Blythe Road, London, W14 0PD from 3 – 7 November 2013 and the catalogue and bidding will be online at 25blytheroad.com.

During this period of Asian Art in London (31st October – 9th November 2013) Arthur will also be lecturing at the Olympia Art and Antiques Fair on 5 November, on the Arts and Crafts of India under the Raj, which will examine the long standing craft tradition in India which has evolved under different waves of foreign influence.
