The second HALI Tour to Armenia & Georgia will take place 7 – 16 May 2016.

As with all HALI Tours, carpets and textiles were the starting point for the inaugural HALI Tour to Armenia, which took place in September 2015. In-depth commentary from curators, generous shows of hospitality and exclusive access to museum stores and private collections ensured that a lasting impression was made — both of the country and the significant Armenian involvement in rug weaving and textile design in the Caucasus and beyond. For 2016, the schedule has been extended by two days to allow more time to be spent in Georgia.
