‘The Indian Sari: Next to the Skin, Close to the Heart’
An exhibition entitled ‘The Indian Sari: Next to the Skin, Close to the Heart’ is currently on show at the Indiana University Art Museum to 20 December 2015.
Twenty-five saris from the collection of Prema Popkin, a Bloomington resident, are on display and trace the various techniques of manufacture, materials, colours and designs of the garments from different parts of India.
