Textile highlights from the Important Design sale, Bonhams, London

Significant rugs and textiles are not limited to specialised auctions or even Islamic and Asian art sales. A case in point is the upcoming Important Design auction at Bonhams in London on 25 April 2018, of which a highlight is a 16th-century Ushak medallion rug (estimate £150,000-200,000), previously in the Aita collection.
