‘Woven Connections’, a selling exhibition by Samyama, will take place at Woo Gallery in Chiangmai, Thailand, from 18 to 22 January 2015. The purpose is to showcase the early connections of southeast Asian communities through the similarity of pattern and figurative motifs found in their native textiles. ‘Woven Connections’ will be held in conjunction with the fifth ASEAN Traditional Textile Symposium, adding another layer to the promotion mutual understanding and cooperation through soft works.
