CSK’s summer Arts of India sale on 12 June 2104 includes several dozen Indian and southeast Asian textiles, including antique painted and block printed cotton chintz palampores, export chintzes, embroideries, painted temple cloths and a range of Kashmiri, Persian and European shawls, as well as Indonesian batiks.

The annual auction of Arts of the American West is happening at Sotheby’s, New York on 21 May 2014.
Among the European auction houses with 2014 spring season sales including rugs and textiles were Udo Langauer’s Austria Auction Company’s ‘Fine Antique Oriental Rugs I’, Nagel ‘Collector Carpets and Ethnologia’ and Leclere Auctions in the city of Marseilles.
