The third instalment of Austria Auction Company‘s ‘Fine Antique Oriental Rugs’ auctions was held during the TKF/ICOC Vienna event on Tuesday 16 September 2014 at the Novomatic Forum, Vienna. Initial highlights of the sold lots in a generally very successful sale, including a world record breaking price for a Salor Turkmen main carpet, and one of the highest sums ever paid for a classical Caucasian carpet, are shown below.
