  1. The ubiquitous ikat

    We are excited to announce a new feature in the front section of HALI Magazine. ‘The Common Thread’ focuses on different textile types from around the world with a shared theme, either decorative or technical. In our latest issue, HALI 200, we look at ikat weavings.

  2. Lucien Viola and Tamy Mézian-Tazi, Marrakesh

    Coinciding with the HALI Tour in Morocco, an exhibition of first-class Moroccan urban embroideries and rural ceremonial textiles was held at Galérie Rê in Marrakesh from 12 May to 24 June 2017.

  5. North African textiles in Florence

    From 3 September at Villa Romana, Florence will be an exhibition of some 25 North African textiles from the private collections of Renate Anna Menzel and Paul Vandenbroeck.
