  1. Karun Thakar Scholarships awarded

    Presented by Karun Thakar in collaboration with the V&A and following a challenging review process, the Karun Thakar Scholarships selection committee is awarding funds to three outstanding candidates working on Asian or African textiles and dress.

    The Fowler Museum at UCLA, Los Angeles celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Witness: Embroidery as History in Post Apartheid South Africa, 7 September – 7 December 2014 is one of three textile exhibitions to mark the occasion.
